What a crazy season it's been!! I've gotten so behind on blogging, but I'm determined to catch up (day by day!). Lindsay and Jeff were married on September 19, 2009. Their ceremony was held at Indian Creek Christian Church, and the reception at Adaggios in Greenfield. It was quite the party! Lindsay had such great decorating ideas -- the feathers were just the perfect touch!!
Hillary and Craig held their wedding at the Marott downtown. As usual Indiana weather goes, we were expecting rain but it held up and ended up being a rather beauitful day! Hillary was so calm and relaxed the whole day - it was amazing! (I LOVED it!) It was great during the ceremony to be inside, but feel like you were outside. And I especially loved watching her family dance; they were cracking me up!!!

Emilee and Kevin's Wedding
On September 12, Emilee and Kevin tied the knot at St. Luke's UMC. You could tell these two were so in love. . . they were adorable. Emilee was absolutely STUNNING, and I finally got the shots I'd been waiting for. . . it just took the perfect dress, perfect setting, and perfect bride who would be willing to do it! Emilee and Kevin -- Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your special day!
August 22, 2009 - Hannah and Gavin's Wedding
Hannah and Gavin came all the way up from Ft. Myers, FL for their beautiful wedding at the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. They are both musicians in for a symphony - Hannah plays violin and Gavin is a percussionist. They were SO fun to watch on their big day. They had the perfect mix of cultures, and it was so refreshing to be a part of something "different". And I learned so much, too! Their reception was held at the Hilbert Circle Theatre -- how fitting!

Engagement Sessions
On August 15th I met Jennifer and Matt at the Indianapolis Museum of Art for some engagement photographs. What a fun couple! They're getting married in Vegas this November and wanted to kick off the big day in a special way. We had a great time and took some amazing shots. I love shooting at the IMA. . . Here are a few of my favs:
HELLLLOOO!!
A few days later, I met Hannah and Ryan at the White River Gardens to shoot some downtown shots along the canal. Hannah said she was nervous, but really didn't have a reason to be: the pictures are great! This spot was special to them because it's where they went after their first date. I can't wait for their wedding this October!

Bonny and Rob's Wedding
On July 11, 2009 old high-school sweethearts, Bonny and Rob, finally tied the knot! They have such a great story to tell. . . in the end, they wound up reuniting at a Civil War Re-enactment and decided to get married! The wedding and reception was held at Billie Creek Village in Rockville, IN (where they met up during their re-enactment). With a storm chasing close behind us, the day was none-the-less magical. Their three boys were so charming. What a great family!

Bridal Shoot
On June 24th a group of photographers that I work with all got together to work on some bridal shots and play around with lighting techniques. Nicole was our beautiful photographer. We met at Karen Bowling's studio and home - the setting was beautiful and we got lucky that night with an amazing sunset. We all shared some great tips and I went home with some fun new ideas. I can't wait to use them on my brides! Here are some of my favorite shots:

playing with the video light w/ the bride against a wall.
My personal favorite. Looks like a magainze!

Nicole's Portraits and Ehler's family 6-09-09
Last Tuesday I did two portrait sessions and had so much fun! First, I shot baby Nathan, who is already 6 months old!! He looks just like his brother. . . they were so cute! That evening I took pictures of Nicole up in Noblesville. Sometimes, it's hard to believe she's a mother of two - and normally always stuck BEHIND the camera, it was her time to get in front of it! She was amazing and so model-esque. Me and some other photographers are snatching her up next week to practice lighting techniques for brides!
