I love fall portraits!! This Wednesday we headed out to the Indianapolis Museum of Art for some family pictures of the Ehlers family and it was so beautiful. We got some great shots; it helps when you have two very giggly little boys. (Who find the mention of farts to be beyond funny). :)
Brittany and Sam were married October 16, 2010 at the beautiful Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana. I always love places that are set up perfect for weddings! It was a beautiful day and perfect for pictures.
It's 10-10-10!! I drove over to Rose Hulman University to shoot Tiaya and Josh's beautiful wedding. What a great day -- it couldn't have been more beautiful. This same day last year - 10-10-09 I was shooing a wedding for their family friend, Shelly and Bill. I remember seeing Tiaya and Josh at their wedding and thinking, "What a sweet couple!". . . you can just tell when you see a couple of love birds that are crazy about each other. Congratulations to you both!! Have fun on your honeymoon!
Of course the ONE day it decides to rain was the day of Megan and Andy's wedding at Connor Prairie this past weekend (October 2, 2010). But despite the morning weather, they handled everything so well and it was still a beautiful beautiful day to be married! Things cleared up just in time for the ceremony (and pictures) and we lucked out. Congratulations you two!
September 25th was the PERFECT weekend to get married. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Emily and Charles (aka Drew) were married outside at "The Grove" near a small church in Camby, IN. I knew I would love their family when we first met last winter - everyone is so friendly and down-to-earth. Emily and Charles were so so so sweet together - I think they definitely have many many more years of happiness in their future! I am a local wedding photographer from the Indianapolis area that specializes in photojournalistic and contemportary photography styles. I love my job! Sharing in such a special day with so many people is a dream come true. I've always loved weddings. . . to this day they still make me cry. When I shoot, I capture all the "real" moments that you want to remember and shoot them in the most unobtrusive way possible. I work hard to take the pictures that when you see them 5, 10, 50 years down the road will still bring back the memories as if it just happened yesterday.
