Bonny and Rob's Wedding

On July 11, 2009 old high-school sweethearts, Bonny and Rob, finally tied the knot! They have such a great story to tell. . . in the end, they wound up reuniting at a Civil War Re-enactment and decided to get married! The wedding and reception was held at Billie Creek Village in Rockville, IN (where they met up during their re-enactment). With a storm chasing close behind us, the day was none-the-less magical. Their three boys were so charming. What a great family!

Tory and Ryan's Wedding

On June 27th, 2009, I drove up to Kokomo for Tory and Ryan's wedding. It was so beautiful. . . everything was very well coordinated and looking spectacular! Tory was (of course) stunning. And SO great to work with. . . I felt like I'd known her for years!! It was an honor to shoot at their wedding -- Thank you!! Here are just a few of my favorites:

Family Family Family!

The 28th and 29th were family days for me. . . First, I took pictures of the Lather family in Avon at Prestwick Golf Course, then to Holiday Park to shoot the Pemberton family and their new 6 month-old bundle of joy!

Bridal Shoot

On June 24th a group of photographers that I work with all got together to work on some bridal shots and play around with lighting techniques. Nicole was our beautiful photographer. We met at Karen Bowling's studio and home - the setting was beautiful and we got lucky that night with an amazing sunset. We all shared some great tips and I went home with some fun new ideas. I can't wait to use them on my brides! Here are some of my favorite shots:

My personal favorite. Looks like a magainze!

Nicole's Portraits and Ehler's family 6-09-09

Last Tuesday I did two portrait sessions and had so much fun! First, I shot baby Nathan, who is already 6 months old!! He looks just like his brother. . . they were so cute! That evening I took pictures of Nicole up in Noblesville. Sometimes, it's hard to believe she's a mother of two - and normally always stuck BEHIND the camera, it was her time to get in front of it! She was amazing and so model-esque. Me and some other photographers are snatching her up next week to practice lighting techniques for brides!

Kelly and Bennie's Wedding

May 30, 2009 I went over to the town of Lizton to shoot a beautiful outdoor wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs. Their property was ideal: a beautiful brick home on top of a hill with a nice grassy yard in back, just in front of some woods with and a small creek running through. I already knew Kelly and Bennie won "most laid-back couple of the year" award, so I knew this was going to be a great shoot. They were great - so happy, so at ease, and so in love! As usual Indiana forecast goes, it went from beautiful predictions to storms, to partly cloudy, to rain throughout the week. And it managed to hold up for us - it turned out to be a beautiful day with just a few drops every now and again. We had a great time!

Peekin' through mommy's legs. Isn't she adorable?!

Bailey and Matt's Engagment Pictures

On Memorial day I met Bailey and Matt at Forest Park in Noblesville for their engagement session. The forecast had called for storms and showers all day - but it managed to hold up for us so we could get our pictures in. Matt brought along his truck so we could get some shots with them and his pride and joy - Matt actually proposed to Bailey in his truck! We had a great time and despite the cloudy skies got some great sunset pictures!
