Bridal Show
I attended my first bridal show this Sunday at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis. What an experience! There were some great vendors there and I met some very nice contacts -- an of course, lots of beautiful brides! I'm looking forward to my next show already!

September 12th and 13th
Heather and Brandon's were married on Friday the 12th and the weather somehow managed to hold up. It rained all morning, then seemed to stop just in time to start formals outside at the gazebo at Valle Vista, and last all through the day. Brandon had 3 beautiful children and you could see how much love their family had. The reception was so much fun -- and so many children there! We evening ended the evening with a fun game of limbo!

The following day I shot for Shea and Cortney; college sweethearts who I knew from my days at Ball State University. Although it was very hot, very humid, and very windy, it was magical none-the-less. There ceremony and reception were both held on the canal downtown behind an old historic chapel off of Delaware Street. I can't decide which I liked the best; the pink parasols or the ring bearer and flower girl played by two very adorable puppies!

Lauren and James's Wedding
On September 6th I ventured up to Sheridan, IN for a beautiful wedding in a rather small town. Everyone was so friendly and sweet - lots of small town hospitality! They had a beautiful ceremony followed with a great reception at the Palimino in Zionsville. We were able to sneak outside as the sun was setting and get some amazing photographs. Thanks James and Lauren for letting me be a part of your special day!

Rachel and Joe's Wedding

Rachel and Joe's Wedding was August 9th in Westfield/Carmel at two beautiful locations for their ceremony and reception. Rachel and I went to school together, so it was so much fun to be there to capture the day and get to know her and her family better than I ever knew them before. She was such an elegant and classic bride. . . and was up for anything! We got some great shots out on the golf course just before their reception - the sky was the perfect shade of blue. Rachel and Joe have many many happy years ahead of them!
State Fair

The summer isn't complete without our annual trip to the Indiana State Fair! This year was BEAUTIFUL -- perfect weather, small crowds, and lots and lots of yummy food. Luke (my nephew) was old enough this year to "get it" and had a great time petting all of the farms animals and seeing everything the fair had to offer. It was a great time.Monday, August 11, 2008
July Shots
Ahh, I've gotten behind on my blogging! July was a very busy month. . . July 12th was Tina and Scott's Wedding at St. Luke's Methodist Church, and the reception was at a golf resort with a BEAUTIFUL setting. The windows were magnificent! Also, Courtney and Oscar then came over to shoot maternity pictures before their beautiful baby girl, Mia, was born (yesterday!). On July 19th, I attended the wedding of Cassandra and Tad - I was actually their videographer, but managed to get a few shots on the side. The following week I shot the wedding of Jenny and Romeo. . . so well put together, and the reception was quite the party! Here are some of my best pics. . .
