Portraits!!

I always have people ask me if we do portraits. YES!! Although we specialize in weddings, Lee handles the senior portraits and families, and I do maternity and babies (because they're so darn cute!!) Here are some of our portrait highlights from the last half of 2009:

Erin Anderson - Highschool Senior 2010. Lee met Erin and her mom at Oliver Winery and they drove around Bloomington for her senior pictures. They were amazing! (Lee is such a talented fellow. . . ) And check out those eyes!! Erin, you are positively BEAUTIFUL!

Melissa gave birth to Kyan in October and I shot his new born portraits, along with this reflection picture (of course, I shot the pregnancy part of the picture earlier in the year). I love this picture on any mother. . . before and after. . . so beautiful.

Hello you beautiful family!! Haha, this is actually my brother, his fiance Ali and her son Ethan. Aren't they the custest? We shot this picture near-nighttime and lucked out with the sunset. They'll be married March 27, 2010!!

*Adorable* I can't believe he's already one-year-old. . . it seems like I was just shooting his 6 month pictures not too long ago. What an adorable and heart-warming little boy. . .

Hahaha, I couldn't stop laughing when I took this picture!! Luke and Nathan were so adorable, it was hard to pick my favorite picture. I couldn't resist the sunglasses, though.

Charee and Seth's Wedding

Ok, we all know I've said the the Omni Severin is one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) place to shoot. Charee and Seth held their wedding there on December 30, 2009 and once again - it didn't disappoint! Charee was STUNNING in her dress, she really got the winter feel with her cute jacket and fuzzy throws for her ladies. She was like snow white, it was beautiful. I felt so lucky to be chosen as their photographer - thank you so much!

These ladies were so fun. Look at dad in the back -- Hahahaa

Dancin' queen!

Charee's best friend gives her toast :)

Oh, love. . . it's it a great thing?

Seth, preparing himself for the big day!

Hannah and Ryan

SO beauitful - the couple that has been married the longest dancing infront of the couple that JUST got married. Sweetness.

Pumpkins in fall - love it.

The cake was the winner for the year. SO stunning! And look at this gorgeous venue!

*Ahhh*

This flower girl was absolutely adorable! I love how she was watching all the "big girls" getting ready. . . in total awe.

I met Hannah through my sister, who is a ER nurse with her at Methodist Hopsital in downtown Indy. Lee and I both fell in love with her as soon as we met - she is that happy, silly, beautiful person that everyone want to know! Her and Ryan had the most amazing ceremony and recption in Ft. Wayne, IN on October 24, 2009. I couldn't shoot enough pictures, everything was so beautiful. It was my first time at Cerutis (the reception venue) and is now probably one of my favorite - it definately had the most cozy, personal feeling to a hall than I've ever felt before. Thank you so much, Hannah and Ryan, you two are amazing!

SHELLY AND BILL - OCTOBER 10, 2009

The Cake and the Couple

My new fav!! The church, the flowers, the couple, the limo, the kiss -- it just about has it ALL!!

I thought the light made her look so angelic. *Stunning*, Shelly!

Shelly and Bill had the quaintest, most romantic, most original wedding. The ceremony was held in a beautiful old church down a winding road - the fall colors were AMAZING. The reception in a gorgeous tent in her parents back yard - chandelier and all! I couldn't get over how great the property was; beautiful fields, horses, an old historic-looking barn and the cutest house I've even seen. It was perfect. Shelly and Bill - you two are amazing! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day!

MEREDITH AND BRANDON - OCTOBER 3, 2009

This couple is SO adorable!

*Classic*

Meredith and Brandon were also blessed with parents that have AWESOME acreage and the perfect setting for a wedding. There was a pond, gazebo, and all of their closest friends and family. Who I LOVED, by the way. I felt so at home with them, I was wishing I was the adopted child!! Meredith and Brandon were the classic example of "down-to-earth", I loved spending the day with them. Congratulations!!

Lindsay and Jeff/Hillary and Craig

What a crazy season it's been!! I've gotten so behind on blogging, but I'm determined to catch up (day by day!). Lindsay and Jeff were married on September 19, 2009. Their ceremony was held at Indian Creek Christian Church, and the reception at Adaggios in Greenfield. It was quite the party! Lindsay had such great decorating ideas -- the feathers were just the perfect touch!!

Hillary and Craig held their wedding at the Marott downtown. As usual Indiana weather goes, we were expecting rain but it held up and ended up being a rather beauitful day! Hillary was so calm and relaxed the whole day - it was amazing! (I LOVED it!) It was great during the ceremony to be inside, but feel like you were outside. And I especially loved watching her family dance; they were cracking me up!!!

Emilee and Kevin's Wedding

On September 12, Emilee and Kevin tied the knot at St. Luke's UMC. You could tell these two were so in love. . . they were adorable. Emilee was absolutely STUNNING, and I finally got the shots I'd been waiting for. . . it just took the perfect dress, perfect setting, and perfect bride who would be willing to do it! Emilee and Kevin -- Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your special day!

August 22, 2009 - Hannah and Gavin's Wedding

Hannah and Gavin came all the way up from Ft. Myers, FL for their beautiful wedding at the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. They are both musicians in for a symphony - Hannah plays violin and Gavin is a percussionist. They were SO fun to watch on their big day. They had the perfect mix of cultures, and it was so refreshing to be a part of something "different". And I learned so much, too! Their reception was held at the Hilbert Circle Theatre -- how fitting!
